Birth Support

What you get: Our team works together to offer a unique brand of total support: emotional, physical, and educational.

Our goal when working with you is that you feel supported getting whatever kind of birth you want— and that your autonomy is never violated.

All four of our birth workers are trained in full-spectrum support. While you may find any one of us attending a birth, in general we each have individual specialties.

Ellyn and Leona focus on birth, with support from Megan and Shea. They meet with clients at least twice before birth to work on birth planning and comfort measures. Then, when you call, one or both of them will arrive to support you through labor (no matter how long it takes) including staying up to three hours after birth to get everyone settled. They also offer follow-up visits to process your birth, answer questions, and admire your adorable baby.

Shea focuses on your body and the incredible things it can do! They offer two one-hour massages included in the birth support package— to redeem whenever you like. Additionally, they consult on bodywork during your birth if needed.

Megan offers intuitive, warm, and experienced postpartum support. They offer meal planning, light housework, lactation support, education for partners and so much more. Hours of postpartum support can be added to your birth package or purchased independently.

Additionally, Leona offers childbirth education that is tailored specifically to you, to make sure you are as prepared as possible for all the exciting changes in your life.

Because all our birth workers are trained in multiple kinds of support, you never have to worry what will happen in the rare event your birth worker can’t make it to your birth. You will have built in back ups that you have already met!
